Overview

The Super Slim is the last PS3, out in autumn 2012. It's about a quarter smaller and a fifth lighter than the Slim, and swaps the slot-loading drive for a sliding lid on top.

In Europe there was a 12 GB flash memory model alongside the 250 and 500 GB hard drive versions, with an official hard drive kit to upgrade it. Like the Slim it plays PS1 discs but not PS2 discs. The CECH-4200 and 4300 that followed are near enough the same machine.
